About the opportunity
We are currently looking for a Project Coordinator - Industrial to support one of our key clients operating in a highly regulated and technologically advanced industrial environment.
In the context of digital transformation and Manufacturing 4.0 initiatives, industrial and laboratory systems are becoming increasingly interconnected. This requires strong governance, structured lifecycle management, and close collaboration between IT, OT, engineering teams, and external vendors.
The Project Coordinator - Industrial will play a key role in ensuring that industrial IT systems are implemented and maintained in alignment with defined governance frameworks, security standards, and operational excellence principles.
Role overview
The Project Coordinator will act as a governance and compliance facilitator within industrial system implementation projects. The role ensures that IT and OT standards, security requirements, and lifecycle controls are properly applied throughout all project phases.
This position requires strong coordination capabilities, structured thinking, and experience working in complex industrial or manufacturing environments.
Key responsibilities
Governance & coordination:
Ensure the correct application of the Industrial IT governance framework within projects
Develop and maintain project accelerators (templates, documentation, tracking tools, reporting dashboards)
Coordinate with IT, OT, security, engineering, and business stakeholders
Gather and consolidate required inputs for compliant system implementation
Monitor progress, risks, and alignment with governance processes
Report status, issues, and performance to IT and Delivery Management
Compliance & implementation oversight:
Assess project work packages for compliance with industrial IT standards
Communicate technical and governance requirements to internal teams and external suppliers
Support partners in addressing compliance gaps
Prepare recommendations for governance and decision boards
Collaborate with procurement and legal teams to ensure contractual alignment with technical requirements
Contribute to the drafting of Design Specifications to support qualification and validation activities
Required skills & experience
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Biosciences, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum 3+ years of experience in IT and/or OT environments
Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or highly regulated environments
Knowledge of IT & OT infrastructure services
Understanding of industrial cybersecurity principles
Experience in coordinating system implementations (at least two documented project examples)
Exposure to vendor assessment and third-party coordination
Experience in change coordination within complex landscapes
